What Grinds my Gears!

What really grinds my gears is when a movie has great potential but doesnt even come close to reaching that potential. Why would you even let a movie release if it isn't as great as it could be? if a movie has a great stoyline, why would you have horrible actors playing the roles? Why would you half ass a movie?

idunno i guess to me, movies are something of greatness. and if it takes so much to put into it why would you just half way do it i mean if your already doing it might as well go all out right...i hate it when you watch a movie and you think that its gonna be great and you just walk out thinking oh that was alright but you realize that it had potential...like He's just not that into you...i was so excited for it to come out and in the end it just felt like it was missing something.....or when there is a great movie but horrible acting....A Walk to Remember was absolutely a great movie but i mean common we all know that when we watch it again now...its like WTF why would they even pick those actors...can you say HORRIBLE...

Fast and Furious

Well...what a disappointment this movie was....you would think that because it has the original cast that it would be a good movie but i was wrong....jordana brewster doesnt even look that hot in the movie....only at the end when she was driving the car haha...but yeah the story line was pretty corny i mean common PG-13 seriously it was totally a movie for like 8th graders...it was hyped up way too much and over rated....i cant believe i wasted $22 dollars on it...i should have just downloaded it...what a waste of my time...dont watch it....the jokes werent even funny...no sex scenes or anything....haha not that i was looking forward to seeing something like that but yeah it would make it more interesting haha

SUNSHINE CLEANING!

i would have to say that i was feeling kind of iffy on this movie when i first saw the previews and heard about it...after watching it last night, i left quite satisfied...its a great movie, especially for sisters...it may be a little disturbing at times but by the end of the movie you really understand why...it makes you laugh it makes you cry and it makes you feel love but not in love feelings but more love for the people who matter in your family no matter what happens or what they do...it had a cute concept...although i must say that there was almost no point in having the little boy in the movie because he was a brat and otherwise did not add anything to it, just kind of in the way...it was a great movie...i plan on adding it to my collection when it comes out at walmart for $5 haha yup the cheap way....just gotta wait a couple years...itll get there haha

Stick It

okay i recently purchased the movie STICK IT...and it Never gets old. many people say that it was lame but i dont think so...what makes the film worth watching is Missy Peregrym...my God is she SEXY...i mean just her personality throughout the movie overall is what keeps it alive her whit alone makes the movie soo funny not only that but i love her style its like damn she is such a tomboy but can really pull it off on the gymnastic floor and like a girl...she is soo hot and ripped...but anyways i think that despite what people think, it is a very entertaining movie and its so cute...overall its a good chick flick...and it doesnt hurt that the main character is super hott...sigh im in love with her haha

I am actually a FILIPINO AMERICAN...and for most of my life i have pretty much had a negative image toward my culture...i never gave them a chance...didnt even want to watch anything that had to do with filipinos and filipino shows...but surprisingly enough my current girlfriend of almost 2 years is a FILIPINO born and raised in the Phillippines...ever since we got together she has completely opened the door and opened my mind to my culture...suddenly i am IN LOVE with filipino movies...despite the fact that their slow they are mostly my favorite kind of movie a ROMANTIC COMEDY and i love the fact that they always keep a "love team" for a couple of movies because it makes you feel as if you know these actors and it helps you build a kind of relationship with them...yes these movies tend to lean to to a corny cliche side but they do touch my heart with great additions of laughter....They give me those butterflies in my stomach and make me feel how the actors are feeling and make me feel like i am in the movie actually a part of it...i find myself waiting for these movies to come out here in AMERICA...i might add that because of them, i am now fluent in tagalog as well

I LOVE YOU MAN!

so...i have been watching the commercials for I LOVE YOU MAN!...and i had come to the conclusion that it would be a waste of time movie...it didnt even look funny....i must say that it completely surprised me. i was busting up for most of the movie...that team of actors just mold so well together...they do a fantastic job at turning a total guy movie into a chick flick...i mean it has love romance friendship comedy....what more could you need from a movie...you know i still just cant get over the fact that that guy from romeo and juliet and the object of my affection and clueless is apart of that comedy team because he played such different roles back in the day...the wonderful 90s! i mean dont get me wrong he is a FUNNY guy...but i miss that overjoyed fiance, the hott step brother, and the totally lovable gay guy...but all in all it was a great movie to laugh to...i must say the second half was not nearly as funny as the second half and it did get a little corny...but other than that...it was great

this morning my mother informed me that there may be a possibility that IRAN will be bombing us here in the US...not just any kind of bomb but a NUCLEAR one...and that made me think...what would happen if that really did happen. i mean there has never been anything of that sort...as in a WAR occur on US soil..i mean at least not in our life time...imagine the effect that would have on us here...no one would be able to understand or know what to do...we would be in total chaos...so many questions arise in my head...if it were to happen would i even survive? what would i do? who would i run to first? it scared me not exactly knowing the possibilities...it scared me because what if i was selfish and didnt even try to help anyone but myself or just leave people i love in order to save myself...you know what i mean? well maybe you dont haha...as for the chaos i dont think that anyone would have the capacity to know how to deal in a situation where we would get bombed, let alone have war on US soil. just to think...what would happen to our economy...what would happen to our population..what would happen to the future of the US...could we even persevere as a nation...if we were to get attacked and war were to break out here...where could we hide....how many people would die....who would be lucky enough to stay alive...what would they do if they did survive...who of my loved ones would still be there...WHAT IF WE LOST...its like that part of the movie where you say...so what happens now...

Who am I?

I am actually a nobody important. My name is Tawny Ann and I will be writing about the nonsense that goes on in this head of mine. Just to give you an idea of where I come from...I live in Walnut and I'm 20 years old.
